Honestly, not much. They are all names for the same thing: upholstered bench seating with a back, designed to live against a wall or stand freely in a space. At FurnitureLab we use "booth" as the umbrella term. A wall bench is one continuous run, with fewer legs, no gaps, less dust, and a more built-in look. A dinette or banquette usually refers to a shorter single segment. Whatever you call it, we craft them all.
Yes, booths are our canvas. You can specify any shape or height, any leg or base style, any tufting pattern, and any contract-grade textile, vinyl, or laminate. We most often use Formica, Wilsonart, and Omnova Boltaflex Colorguard NFR vinyl, but we will grade in whatever you need. Add power, partitions, or custom graphics, or collaborate with us on a fully custom design. If you have a wild idea, our Account Managers love a challenge.
You will need a template, and we make it easy. Request our free templating kit. It ships with templating paper, tape, a utility knife, a marker, and a return mailing tube. One pro tip: finish the drywall before you measure. For freestanding booths 48 inches high or taller, plan for user-supplied blocking behind the wall to prevent tipping.
